It is an honour to be named one of 15 Pierre Elliott Trudeau Scholars in 2017. I am researching relationships between public health and Indigenous co-management of fish and wildlife resources in Labrador’s Inuit communities. It will be a great experience to share and learn through this new academic community.
I am very grateful to my supervisor Dr. Sheri Lee Harper, the Ontario Veterinary College Department of Population Medicine, the University of Guelph, committee members Dr. Chris Furgal and Dr. James Ford, and my encouraging partner Dr. Ashlee Cunsolo.
